Wall Street Banks Are Starting to Retrench
CNN's Paul Saffo says Wall Street banks are really starting to retrench and they're starting to fire people. Jeffries is another interesting example of this because their communication couldn't have been clearer, he says. Saffo: Is this a surprise? Is this just what Wall Street does when business is tough? And I think the timing really relates to a very slow start to the year, especially an equity issue,. He adds that on the death side of things, things are looking up a little bit.
