The Importance of Predictability in Hurling

Limerick's plan A has been very, very good. They have just kept doing it better and better and better. But that gives opposition an opportunity. If they can see a team that is in some way predictable, then they can at least apply a predictable plan towards it. Limerick took the league too seriously. The rest of the teams just kind of hung around and analyzed absolutely everything Limerick do. And to be fair, Limerick's plan B has always been to do plan A better in the way Kilkenny used to.
