Movie Review - Is This Really a Psychodelic Movie?
The movie is sort of in part like a metaphor about psychadelic experience. He leans very heavily on imagery that's reminiscent of, like, psychodelic arwork and depictions of Psychadelia. I've read the book. The book is actually much, much stranger even than the movie. It's its kind of ex mental. But you can sense that he's bringing to screen this idea that, like, these characters are losing their minds a little bit,. They're not thinking rationally.
