Save the Elephants
African elephants need an awful lot of space to eat the amount of food that they need each day. They can eat up to 400 kilos of food in a day, which is about as heavy as a horse. As a search for all of this food, elephants walk across huge areas of wilderness. But now that wilderness is being turned into new homes and farms. Dr Lucy King works for the charity Save the Elephants.
