Scouting Adventures and Chernobyl Orphans

This chapter discusses the speaker's experience of sponsoring and hosting a group of young people from Ukraine who were orphaned or living in a radiation zone after the Chernobyl reactor blew up. It highlights the various activities they engaged in and the positive impact it had on the young people. The chapter also touches on the speaker's first overseas trip to Soviet communist Russia and their experiences visiting orphanages and witnessing the poor conditions there.
