The Twitter Files and the Danger of Trumpism
CNN's John Sutter spoke with Julian Zelizer about the COVID-19 Twitter files. He said they show that the government is far more intimately involved in social media platforms than previously thought. The FBI, of course, is probably the main one and it's constantly sending Twitter accounts to be censored, he says. But there are also other revelations that point to the fact that the Department of Homeland Security is also involved in this effort.
