The FBI's Performance in the Case of Selma
The political will to pursue these sorts of cases had diminished in some way because the Voting Rights Act had been passed. The movement itself kind of moved on from this area and I think the federal the gaze of the federal government turned as well. It's still a little unclear exactly where to point the finger but essentially just to kind of boil it down nothing has come of those investigations or very very little has come ofthose investigations.
