Travis Walton's Story

Travis Walton and the rest of his logging crew spent a comparatively normal day felling trees in Apache, Greaves National Forest. Travis claims that he initially believed it to be the light from the setting sun before remembering that the sun had gone down some 30 minutes ago. As they drove back towards town, Travis and the others became aware of an unusual light shining through the gaps in the trees. Before anybody could stop him, Travis had leapt from the car and produced a chart and proceeded to charge the animal while shouting and screaming. The bear wanted no part of this crazy madman and immediately fled the scene leaving Travis unharmed and with an incredible story to tell.
