The Idea of Copyright
The idea that only god can create is really deeply a tied up in in western theology, rite that god is the creator omnium. And copying and imitating ore, increasingly, from the eighteenth, latter part of theigteen century forward, seen as ou no negative things. To copy something is to be second rate and not have your own ideas. The genius doesn't follow the norm. The genius does something in no one hesses sas right, exactly right.
