The Importance of Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions
Before there was a huge outbreak in the United States, there was this email chain among public health people and clinical researchers. They were looking at data coming out of Wuhan, looking at the data coming from Italy. And when the term NPI is used here, that's non-pharmaceutical intervention. So they were talking about how Italy had implemented a court on sanitary like late or lockdown late.
