I gave Jeff Imelz a dozen opportunities to toss Jack under the bus. And he absolutely refused to rise to the bait. I know Jeff privately was quite miffed at Jack. He didn't do any of the things because don't forget Bear Stearns went down the tubes. Like selling GE capital assets was not an option, right?
