The European Community's Progress in Privacy
The European community has been a little bit more aggressive, definitely than here in the US. Some of our even existing privacy laws, such as HIPAA, have not been updated since the 90s. So we need to do something. It's happening at the state level. As of last year, there were five states that had privacy laws. Now there's a couple more, but it's a huge patchwork.
