The Debt Ceiling Debate
Congressman Andy Biggs says he's against the Biden-McCarthy plan to raise the debt ceiling. He points out that it would add four and a half trillion dollars in just one year, not 12 billion as they say. The biggest aspect of what Kevin McCarthy is touting as a reduction in spending is something called administrative pay go which can be waived at any time by an Obama appointee. "It doesn't exist," said Biggs about the so-called 1.5 trillion savings from the bill.
