Loving kindness meditation is all about transforming anger, hatred and ill will in the mind. It's part of our daily training to live more harmoniously with all beings. If we were just to meditate doing loving kindness meditation, it wouldn't actually resolve all the problems in the unenlightened mind. So when you eliminate craving, which is part of that breathing, mindfulness meditation, and part of a lot of the other training that we do on this path. And you eliminate this anger, this hatred, this ill will, this aggression, this hostility, through eliminating ignorance, by acquiring wisdom, then you can live more harmonious with all beings'
