Is Technology and Automation Not Covering All of the Bases of Needed Labor?
The post-work social view isn't just that it presupposes the necessary labor that it has to be done and implies that it's kind of not a political problem that we have to solve. The UBI also attacks the work ethic which would be the other source of motivation to work right so they've successfully destroyed any of the ways in which people you might have a general supply of of labor to do it.
