Sonovia Sarcoma - What Is the Difference Between the Two?
Sonovia sarcoma most commonly occurs in perry articular locations such as the knee, shoulder, elbow and foot. On physical exam, be sure to check for regional lymphadnopathy. Radiographs can show soft tissue mineralization or calcification in these tumors. And know that it may resemble heterotopic ossification. C t can show cal cation in the soft tissue mass. Finally, an m ri reveals a heterogeneous mass that is typically dark on t one weighted images and bright on t two weighted images.
