The Struggle to Sustain Anti-Racism
Cheryl: I think the most effective thing that we can do is to prevent these laws from being passed in the first place. We have eight clients they are a range of individuals seven professors who teach using materials that either touch on or expressly incorporate critical race studies and critical race theory, she says. Cheryl: Of the professor plaintiff five of them are people of color and i want to underscore that because this affects professors of color this affects black professors directly but it affects anyone who wants to teach a truthful rendering of our history so we try to make this a shared struggle and fight and underscore the targeting of these laws at particular communities.
