Peter Petrich was known to be quite a jolly, but stern character on the field. The Gully is made for people who like to have a smoke while a cricket matches are on. It's different if you're standing at fine leg and having a smoke or red medwikit. But that was Petrich and it that wasn't the end of his sporting career though. Years later, he represents his club in the and wins a title in lawn bowls in 2006. Nine years before he passed away, then he wins the national lawn bowls. And also he gives a competitive edge to lawn bowling in New Zealand because he decides they need cash rewards even at club level. To this day
