The Legacy of the Battle of London
Government policy during the war and after was to reduce london's populationas take a million people out of london, take roughly a million jobs. And it's really, i think, that the legacy of the war led to two decades of decline in london. Somehow, the 19 nineties onwards, i think government has begun to see again the value of london to the nation. Londones begun to re invent itself over the last 30 years or so.
