Lauren Loren had been released from a mental health facility for the second time that month. She was experiencing paranoia, hallucinations and symptoms of psychosis which had never happened to her before. According to a podcast about lauren's disappearance, medical staff at the hospital may have determined she had an abortion in late April or early May. Plus plus en didn't even seem very well when they were trying to plan their trip to visit her right at the height of the pandemic.
