Sleep and recovery is the key to athletic development, and we just don't allow people to do it. Potentially even sports are a way in actual training, we can adapt to the sport. And what we find is when we lean into these behaviors around maximizing the human super natural response to handling stress and getting stronger, then we're off to the races.
