Surgical hip dislocations with femoral acetabular osteoplasty and labral repair would be indicated. This patient had radiographic signs of hip dysplasia, not FAI. Surgeons concluded that periacetabular osteotomy was an effective technique for select patients at least 19 years after surgery. For the 40% that failed, they found six factors that predicted a poor outcome.
