The Relationship Between Wagner and the Russian State

Wagner is not just a private military company I mean they're cutting arms deals on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Their training camp in Krasnadar is what the caddy corner next to a GRU Spetsnaz training which you don't get to do real estate wise in Russia unless you have very special relationships. This question is key to how we think about countering Wagner and key to US and European policy particularly as there's so much more focus on the Wagner group.
