Mr. Blue Sky was written and produced by Jeff Lynn who is the guitarist and lead singer of ELO, the Electric Light Orchestra. It also featured Bevan on drums, Richard Tandy on keys, Kelly Groukut on bass and Mick Kaminsky, Hugh McDowell and Melvin Gayhole on springs He was reported at Music Land Studios in Munich, Germany and featured on the band's seventh studio album which is titled Out of the Blue and came out in 1977.
