The Ins and Outs of Fame
In the 80s it was like there were 12 people at a time that were famous. You didn't do a one movie and then on Monday morning we're offered six million dollars for another movie. It's so confusing especially as you're growing up to outsource your adequacy to all of this fame needing to be a certain fame barometer all the time. I mean it's both like exhilarating and terrifying. The Bratpack is such a warm and fuzzy iconic phrase that you've a calls moment in youth and pop culture in the 80s but at the time it was really something to run from, and we hated it.
