Sons of Kohath, You Don't Need Any Obligated Oxen
Moses gave four wagons and eight oxen to the family of gershon for their service. But it says to the sons of kohath, he gave none. Why? Because memer wit the job of the sons ofkohath was, the jobs of the sons were to carry the holy objects. And so those objects had rings through which poles of acacia wood overlaid with gold were put through the rings. They were never to be put on a cart or on a wagon. They were only to be carried.
