Is the Post Modern Condition a Fake?

I think that the power structure freeroad, in a sense, or appropriated the ways of establishing legitimacy in the scientific community for themselves. And i think what you described, which is this process of kind of the powers that be dressing themselves up in the language of science, we could call that modernity. We could also actually call that the post modern condition, because by that point you're already somehow very dishonest about what's going on. I think its may be most obvious in the humanities, is the humanities governed by ultimately sort of scientific approach? Is public policy a scientific enterprise, or is it something else, like a statecraft subordinated to science or not? Or even simple things
