The Opiate Epidemic
The opiate epidemic is reminiscent of what we're going through right with both COVID and the food pyramid. Same exact same exact works. It catches wind a bit in academic medicine amongst though, and there's always some truth. Pain now is something that should never be experienced by anybody under any conditions,. Ever under any conditions, pain assessment is as important as blood pressure and pulse. The board wants to take against 2098 where the board wants to crush everybody else who gives doctors misinformation. In this day and age you can't do anything about it if you don't have authority. And so I've told this story many times but that's the paradigm shift."
