In 20 18, the supreme court struck down a federal law that had frozen sports betting in place as it stood in 19 92. So nevada was the only state where you could play single game wagers until 28 teen. Even before that supreme court ruling, a number of states had really sort of begun to question the wisdom of this federal ban.
