The Importance of Threading in Computer Time Management
We can't really process more than one you know train of thought at a time right or or have more than one conscious deliberate experience at a time we have to kind of yank our attention back and forth. In many ways this is in fact quite like what computers do they just do it at a much faster time scale so they can create the illusion of doing more than one thing at the same time through threading. The biggest pitfall for a system that's managing a multitude of threads is what's called thrashing, which means changing from one test to another but not actually advancing its state.
