In 19 97, there was a popular christian recording artist, song writer, rich mullins, horribly killed in a car accident. And everybody's invoking the name of god, and i was asked to pray. I just felt like, you know, we're coping. We're constructing the mechanism to sort of navigate. But it makes no sense. God called him home. It's part of a bigger plan. We cannot understand the ways of god, but one day we will be reunited together. Ye. The book is about two major events and about a thousand small ones.
