The Chinese Communist Party's Vision of a Leninist Political System
The most important feature of the chinese political system is a centralization of power in a single political party. The people who ran and are running the Chinese communist party had no intention ever of loosening their grip on domestic political power. In some sense, i think they see themselves as the last dynasty. They come from a history in which dynasties have risen and then fallen. And this goes back to dungshell ping and continues in different combinations down to the present.
