When i started, skip, i actually went through the old gener motors institute, now kettering. So i came through, along with my skilled trade brother, a rather blue co collar mentality of people listening to all the safety stuff and rolling their eyes,. Cause they couldn't use it in their real world. For me, it was trying to emulate the exposure assessments of industrial hygiene. It was also trying to be responsive. Those same companies are preaching continuous improvement. In the bottom line is, when people try for perfection, go overboard. They go to the point that they think zero injury means zero risk. And we have to dbunk all of those miths that we talked about before us
