The Differences Between Fundamentalist and Occult Religions
In many cases, the beliefs themselves are not usually the problem unless the beliefs have been generated by the leader's psychopathology. In our group, we use the term, well, sometimes you have to crack a few eggs to make an obelisk. This wasn't every day in the group, but I had gotten the impression that once in a while there are things that have to be done for the good of the order. The person who leaves the group isn't a process of rebuilding a value system than a sense to them. Many of the things that were held in high esteem in the group don't really fit their value system on the outside.
