The season of American Horror Story is all about the inner lives of these people in the circus. They reject a lot of parts of normal society and form relationships with each other. I think objection plays that same role about this action that it's hard to actually speak against an oppressive group without making them abject. If we're thinking about transforming order rather than negotiating out of our space, does that make sense?
