How to Change the Culture of Retailers
There's so much sales data out there that if you're smart about how you deploy it, you should be able to understand with a pretty good degree of accuracy what promotions did well and which ones didn't. Historically, organizations have evaluated this and found that up to 20% of their stores are failing to execute the promotions. If all you did was run the data through and say, this is what good looks like, anything below that line needs to change, or it needs to stop. That would be a huge start.
