The British and the American Position in Geneva
The British position is particularly quite interesting of course because they're the most regressive of all of the allegations in Geneva. They try to make it very difficult for resistance fighters to access the Boudabe Convention and minimize the protections given to civilians by allowing the occupier to use reprisals, collective penalties and so on and so forth. The British are aware of these sensitivities but they are telling their allies particularly continental European allies well don't approach these issues from your emotional perspective take your interest seriously as NATO members.
