Should Social Media Companies Be a Part of Section 230?

In 1996, Section 230 protected social media companies from legal action if they were simply hosting the content and not publishing it responsibly. The lawsuit alleges that government is specifically directing these social media companies to do something or take something down in violation of the First Amendment. Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley says he's going to keep fighting for those who have been stonewalled on this issue since his time as attorney general ended last year.
