Helen Rodríguez Trías (1929-2001) was the first Latina director of the American Public Health Association. She was a leading advocate in the women’s health movement who pushed institutions to better understand the social and economic determinants of health.

These diverse women from across space and time are grouped into easily accessible and engaging monthly themes like Educators, Villains, Indigenous Storytellers, Activists, and many more. Womanica is hosted by WMN co-founder and award-winning journalist Jenny Kaplan. The bite-sized episodes pack painstakingly researched content into fun, entertaining, and addictive daily adventures.
