I don't feel like i understood why they felt like that was so much more important than, you know, the lives of future generations here. I think we're supposed to emphashize most cercy. She's kind of the main character. And she says like, every time innocent lives have been sacrificed for the greater good, it turns out to be a mistake. It takes this an existential question and it turns it into a moral dilemma.
