The Importance of Race in Health Data
After reading your book, how do you want readers to now view categorizing health data in terms of race? I would just argue that that data needs to be seen as a window onto racism. We see it as an indication of the way in which racism acts upon bodies making people sick rather than viewing race as some kind of biological or innate trait. And my guess is that you don't encounter this much anymore, but the old sort of nature versus nurture debates that I grew up hearing about.
