Do You Think the President Would Run as an Independent if He Loses a Nomination?

I don't know that there is a historical parallel for the quantity of investigative efforts at the federal and state level against a former president. Do you think the president would run as an independent if he loses a nomination? I just don't know what he would do in that scenario. And I don't think he would know. He's like, there's no other crime in New York. It's insane.
