Founder and CEO of Mochi Health, Myra Ahmad, launched Mochi in 2022 to address the overwhelming inaccessibility of quality obesity treatment but has since expanded access to evidence-based care and empowered patients to make customized treatment plans with their provider using any of Mochi's 150+ offerings. With this, Dr. Ahmad is pushing the limits of health tech and accessibility, all while fighting back against the established healthcare system who aim to keep their monopoly on healthcare.
Under her leadership, Mochi has grown into an expansive network of over 400 affiliated healthcare providers and is building the future of tech-enabled care. Mochi's comprehensive platform enables seamless communication between pharmacies and providers, features a proprietary electronic medical record system, and incorporates AI transcription tools to reduce physicians' administrative workload in favor of a greater focus on patient-centric care.
Dr. Ahmad also received her MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine and has held research positions at the MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, UCSF Medical Center, and University of California, San Francisco. She now leads a corporate team of over 60 employees and is growing out of Mochi's headquarters in San Francisco.
