SEC Proposal to Regulate Cryptocurrency
SEC commissioner Hester Purse last week wrote a scathing dissent about what the SEC is proposing. Purse says that the new SEC proposal quote, articulates confusing and unworkable standards. In the past, Commissioner Purse said, when faced with the choice of fostering innovation versus stifling it, the SEC always chose innovation. The SEC Chair Gary Gensler kills crypto, which by the way, Congress says he doesn't even have the authority to do.
