The Evolution of the Temples of Egypt

The earliest temples seem to be quite open as structures, maybe made of reeds or there's some evidence of trees being included in worship sites. In the eventually they become more substantial temples and eventually it becomes the stone temples that we recognize today. So yes, a lot of change, I think, but not necessarily obvious to the people living at the time. Even the appearance of the gods and goddesses changes in the statues and in their art as we look at them.
