As an artist is coming from probably an insurmountable human desire to, if not fit in, at least be admired or platformed. As a kid, i can remember choosing eccentric things to say and wear. I don't think you can sort of consciously choose authenticity and know you're doing it,. You choose outhentenicy an know you'redoing it because, like anything you consciously choose. It's just something i've been choosing my whole life, and i'm continuing to do it, yeh.
