Are We Going to Nationalize the Rails?
I would like for the rail network to be owned by the United States, but I'm not unrealistic enough to know this. What I am concerned about is that we have a duopoly politically in this country that has really surrendered a lot of government to these private companies. We're playing catch up all the time because we're allowing these companies to make the decisions about how we mitigate them. And so that's my issue. So this wasn't stepped in and taken over by as soon as the number one, let's get past how this could have been prevented.
