What's Best for the Soul of America?

John Avlon: Before the midterm election, if somebody like John Meacham had talked about losing gracefully and working with your opponents, you know, there'd be people mocking and ridiculing that kind of talk. After the 22 midterms, how fascinating that it's not just what's best for America,what's best for politicians? Avlon: Every person that refused to lose gracefully lost in 2022. Everybody that echoed what Donald Trump said and said they were also going to be election deniers lost their election. And so this hangover could continue for some time unless they find a path forward here.
