How Did the Dancers Respond to the Dances?
Some people danced until they literally died, because they weren't eating or drinking. They had lost any kind of connection between mind and body. So it was er an epidemic in te sense that it spread from person to person. It is still very much a mystery as to what this was all about. And were there any instances of these dancers being punished or hurt in any way by the people around them? Yes. But also obviously some people joined in as they move through.
