How to Avoid Parallax Scrolling

It also seems like this rule or Jacob's law is why people hate parallax scrolling so much on the web. Scrolljacking basically is you're instead of scrolling one to one as you as you mast on the page, it will pause on certain sections and unfold things as you continue scrolling but stay locked on screen. If you are on a laptop that can display high resolution images at 60 frames per second, then it works great. And if you're on old hardware, then screw you.
